Trainee WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Job description The warehouse supervisor will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials and goods.
They will be trained to deal directly with customers, following set out procedures and ensure outgoing orders completed correctly and efficiently.
AccountabilitiesThis role will involve the following responsibilities
- Working and communicating with different teams within the business daily
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Assisting goods outbound
- Storing stock appropriately
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
- General warehouse maintenance duties
- picking and packing orders for dispatch
. On the job Training and Essential Skills - training will be provided on operating a forklift and manual handling
- Must have Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time keeping and attendance is vital
- Must be an excellent team player
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail is required
- Be willing to follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Be willing to work overtime or Saturdays where necessary
