Maternity Cover Deputy Leader

Ballygawley Early Years Playgroup are seeking to appoint a Playgroup Deputy Leader Maternity Cover, commencing August 2025 to June 2026.

Ballygawley Early Years Playgroup aims to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment, which promotes a child’s physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional and social development. We have an exciting opportunity for the Playgroup Deputy Leader role (Maternity Cover) who will be working closely with the Playgroup Leader in the day to day running of the playgroup to ensure safe, stimulating play in a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families.

Essential Criteria:

1. Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care Learning and Development, or relevant qualification.

2. 2 years previous paid experience working in a play, education, youth or day care setting.

Desirable Criteria (Not Essential):

1. Have (or are working towards) Level 5 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development / BA in Early Childhood Studies or a relevant qualification
