Job Vacancy: Quarry Operative
We are currently seeking a Quarry Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who has a keen interest in the quarrying and aggregates industry and is eager to learn and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating plant and machinery (where trained)
* Carrying out general quarry duties, including maintenance and housekeeping
* Working safely and in accordance with health & safety procedures
* Supporting the wider team to ensure efficient site operations
About You:
* A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
* A genuine interest in quarry operations and plant machinery
* Willingness to learn and undertake training
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
* Awareness of health and safety, or a willingness to learn
Experience:
* Previous plant or machinery experience is desirable but not essential
* Full training will be provided for the right candidate
