FULL TIME MECHANIC Permanent role with Adman Civil Projects

Location: Adman Civil Projects, Garage, Leap Lane, Omagh

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Due to continued growth, we have a vacancy for a Mechanic to maintain our fleet of vehicles at our garage in Leap Lane, Omagh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Maintenance and Repairs: Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems. Ensure vehicles are serviced and prepared for successful MOT certification.

• Effective Planning / Scheduling: Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and priority repairs are completed promptly to minimise downtime.

• Quality of Workmanship: Ensure vehicles are serviced and proactively maintained to a high standard, reducing the need for rework or additional repairs.

• Safety and Compliance: Follow all applicable safety, health, environmental, and waste management policies.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Plant Manager and SHEQ team to ensure compliance with company policies, including during internal inspections and audits. Maintain a tidy and organised work area and carry out routine housekeeping duties.

• Inventory, Tool Management and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory and up-to-date maintenance records, including operating logbooks and databases. Maintain control of tools, manuals, repair parts, assemblies, and consumables.

• Additional Duties: Carry out any other tasks as assigned by management.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of vehicles.

• Qualified in Vehicle Maintenance to NVQ Level 3.

• Strong technical knowledge.

• Ability to work independently.

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to reschedule and prioritise workload in response to urgent breakdowns or repairs.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the Plant Department.

• Complies with all safety standards and procedures (including COSHH and PPE).

• A Valid Driving licence is essential

• Must have valid right to work
